Show and Field Highlights

At his first shows, at the age of 7 months, from the 6-9 puppy class shown by Ethan Coye:

• 4th in the Sweepstakes Sporting Group out of 18 breeds (125 puppies entered) under judge JoAnn Buehler at the Southern California Sporting Dog Fanciers show.
• Best Puppy at the Irish Setter Club of Southern California Specialty under judge Harry Schulman.
• Reserve Winners Dog to a 4 point major at Kennel Club of Palm Springs under judge Danelle Brown.
• Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major at Kennel Club of Palm Springs under judge Sharol Candace Way.

At 9 months of age, Cade earned three Junior Hunter passes.

At 10 months of age, from the 9-12 Month Puppy Class:

• Best in Sweepstakes under judge Norah Burrows at the Irish Setter Club of Central California Specialty.
• Best Puppy under judge Eva Berg at the Irish Setter Club of Central California Specialty.
• Winners Dog for a 3 point major under judge Genea Jones at the Irish Setter Cub of the Pacific Specialty.
• Winners Dog for a 3 point major, Award of Merit and Best Puppy under judge Darlene Steele at the Irish Setter Club of the Pacific Specialty.
• Irish Setter Club of America National Specialty 2023 –  1st place 12-15 month class.
• At 11 months of age, Cade earned his last Junior Hunter pass to finish his Junior Hunter title.
• Cade finished his championship at just 17 months of age at the Irish Setter Club of the Pacific Fall Specialty  with a 4 point major!
• At 18 months old, Cade earned a 4th place in the Monterey Bay English Setter Club’s Walking Field Trial in  Amateur Derby .  The next day he again earned a 4th place in Open Derby .  He was the highest placing Setter at the Derby Stakes.
• In April of 2024 under judge Dr. Jill Warren, Cade was Select Dog from the Field Trial Dog class over Specials for his first 4 Grand Champion points at the Irish Setter Club of the Pacific Specialty.
  
• Cade is the sire of 3 Champions and 1 Grandchampion from one litter!
