Fancy earned her AKC championship quickly at the age of 3. She is also a multiple Best in Specialty winner and finished her Grand Championship easily. She has gone on to earn her BRONZE Grand Championship at the age of 5 with limited showing. She also has her Trick Dog Novice title and has earned her Canine Good Citizen Advanced title and her Fit Dog Bronze. She is trained in competitive obedience and has earned her Beginner Novice obedience title. We hope to finish her Companion Dog title in 2026. Fancy will return to the Obedience and Rally rings to earn her advanced titles over the next few years.
Fancy is an outgoing and sweet dog. She carries a moderate amount of coat, has nice bone and substance. She is an outstanding mover with lovely reach. One judge commented that Fancy was “smooth from occiput to tail”. But more importantly, she adores children and her Cocker Spaniel brother. She always has a wagging tail and something to say. Fancy is a beautiful example of the Gordon Setter breed and a wonderful family dog

Won a 5 point major on a Specialty weekend under English Setter Breeder Judge Ann Yuhasz.

Won a 4 point major on a Specialty weekend by going Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and an Award of Merit to finish her championship under Judge Kathryn Cowsert in October of 2021.

Two hours after finishing her championship, Fancy won Best in Specialty for a 5 point major toward her Grand Championship under Judge Stephanie Hedgepath at the Golden Gate Gordon Setter Club Specialty. (October 2021)

Won a Second Best in Specialty for another 5 point major toward her Grand Championship under Judge Richard Lewis at the Golden Gate Gordon Setter designated Specialty with Hangtown Kennel Club of Placerville, CA in May of 2022

Won Best of Breed the next day for another 5 point major and finished her Grand championship under Irish Setter breeder Judge Bob Robinson.

Won Best of Breed on the third day for 5 point major under Judge Debra Verdon for her first points toward her Bronze Grand Championship.

Won 1st place in the Sporting Owner Handler Group under Judge Richard Lewis.

In 2022 #8 National Owner Handled Gordon Setter awarded by the Gordon Setter Club of America.

In April of 2024, having been out of the show ring for almost a year, Fancy ventured back out for a 6 show weekend and was Best of Breed at three shows for 15 points total, then Best of Opposite at one show for 4 points and Select Bitch at the next show for 4 additional points. 23 Grand Champion points to add to her previous 75!

May 25, 2024 Fancy finished her Bronze Grand Championship winning a 5 point major at the Golden Gate Gordon Setter Specialty!

May 27, 2024 Fancy finished her Beginner Novice Obedience title with a score 0f 190 and another 2nd place ribbon.

October 26, 2025 Fancy earned her Community Canine title (CGCA) and in November she earned a FITB (Fit Dog Bronze) title.
