Joeleen is a very special puppy. She finished her championship before her 9 month birthday.  She has style and movement and that special “thing”  that makes  a dog something to rave about.   She is owned and loved by David and Cathy Michels along with co-owner Tracy Leisek. David is a field trial judge and he is very excited to get Joeleen out hunting birds.

Joeleen is taking a break from the show ring  while she grows up and will be training with David for field trial titles.  We are very excited about the future of this stand-out Bright Star puppy!

Show  Highlights

• At the age of 6 months won Winner’s Bitch from the 6-9 month class for a 4 point major under judge Neena Dee
• The same weekend won another 4 point major from the 6-9 month class going Winner’s Bitch under judge Dr. Jill Warren at the Irish Setter Club of the Pacific specialty.
• At Los Encinos Kennel Club and San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club, Joeleen won Winner’s Bitch, Best of Winners and two  BEST OF BREED over specials  under judges Kerry Lee and Jason Hoke from the 6-9 month class for 3 more points!
• At Yosemite Kennel Club, under judge Gophi Krishnan, she was Winner’s Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 more points
• At Contra Costa Kennel Club,  again from the 6-9 month class, she was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for another 3 point major. Joeleen finished her CHAMPIONSHIP  under judge Marjorie Martorella at age 8 months and 6 days! Joeleen was handled by professional handler Carlos Carizzo for all of the Championship points.
